Hi, I'm Melina !

Born in Tahiti, I grew up in a family of great travellers who passed on their passion for languages and foreign cultures. This multicultural environment naturally shaped my professional journey and life choices. For the past 5 years, I have been working as a freelance translator, navigating between different linguistic and cultural worlds. I translate from English and Korean into French, but also from French into English.

After a year of immersion in England to perfect my English, I pursued a degree in Foreign Languages, Literature and Civilisations (LLCER) in English, Korean and Chinese, followed by a Master's degree in literary translation specialising in Korean.

For the past 5 years, I have been working as a freelance translator, navigating between different linguistic and cultural worlds. I translate from English and Korean into French, but also from French into English.
